Quick, Accurate Subtitles

Got a 20% off coupon, and HappyScribe transcribed my video in about 10 minutes for Subtitles.

Decent, but a few snags

i tried HappyScribe last week for a few Google Meet recordings, mostly 'cause i saw a deal pop up. the free trial was handy for checking out the quality, and the Timestamping feature was a lifesaver for referencing specific parts of my interviews. it transcribed everything pretty accurately, definitely comparable to Rev or Otter.ai. however, figuring out the credit system felt a little clunky at first, and i was hoping for a more straightforward monthly subscription option. also, i tried to upload an SRT file i had from somewhere else and it wasn't immediately obvious how to work with that format for new uploads. it's good, just not perfect for all my needs.

solid for quick transcriptions

the workspace collaboration on HappyScribe has been super helpful for my team, especially with all the different languages they support, makes things so much easier than juggling other tools like rev or otter.ai. i just wish they'd offer a few more credits for long-time users instead of always needing a new promo code.

Detailed Subtitle Service Review

I needed Subtitles for a short training video I made. The ordering process on their website was intuitive; I uploaded the video file, selected the language, and chose the standard turnaround time. The cost per minute was clearly displayed before confirming. Delivery took about 2 days as promised, and I received an email notification once it was ready. The VTT Export was flawless, integrating perfectly with my video platform. The quality of the subtitles was high, with accurate speaker identification and correct punctuation. I only found a couple of minor errors which were easily edited using their online video editor. The interactive player was a nice touch for reviewing. I didn't need customer support, which is often a good sign. It's a reliable service for content creators.

Loved the AI Notetaker!

Oh my gosh, I just used the AI Notetaker for my online class and it was fantastic! Seriously, it caught everything and organized it so well. I usually miss so much trying to scribble notes, but this changed the game. I am definitely going to use HappyScribe again for all my lectures. I already told my study group about it. So good!

Quick, decent translation

I got some Translation done for a short document. It was fast. The output was decent, needed a few tweaks. Worked for what I needed.

Good value, some AI quirks

I used HappyScribe for AI Transcription on a couple of interviews. The price was competitive, especially with the free minutes they offer initially. The process of uploading and getting the transcript back was efficient, typically within an hour for my files. I appreciated the quick turnaround. However, the AI sometimes struggled with strong accents, and I had to spend a fair bit of time correcting those sections. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it added to my workload. The interface was clean and easy to navigate. Overall, a solid option for transcription, but expect to do some proofreading, especially with challenging audio.

Easy to use AI transcript

I tried out their AI Transcription service last week for a podcast I did. It was pretty straightforward to upload the audio. The transcription came back way faster than I expected, and it was mostly accurate. Just had to fix a few words, but that's normal for AI stuff. Good experience overall, saved me a bunch of time.
